BACK IN THE DAY:Sunday, January 11, 2003... A big, tall, blond haired guy up front welcomed about 100+ singles in the room. The first ever Foundry Sunday morning started. Can you believe it? 6 years have passed already along with 6 Gebhards children being born.

GOD'S PROVIDENCE:Jon Perdido here. I'm always amazed how the Lord intertwines my life with others. He always bring about people in His body to be a blessing :) to me which would later become, my friends. Foundry was that place for me. I hope that it was the same for you.

IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME:Many ex-Foundrites have scattered. 6 years later, I say, "Let's have a reunion!" No long weekend retreat, just a time to have a little "Park Day" to catch up, see old friends, laugh about old times, bust out a game of Mafia kickball, and reconnect.

WHO SHOULD COME?

If you were there on the 1st Sunday Morning, you should come.

If you know who coined the phrase "spousal acquisition." you should come.

If you were there when Kurt preached a dating series, you should come.

If you were part of Foundry BEFORE regional studies, you should come.

If you met your spouse in the Foundry, you should come.

If you were ever part of a Foundry Productions video, you should come.

If you were there for Kurt's 3 hour sermon, you should come.

If you were there when there were only 3 Gebhards kids, you should come.

If you attended more than 5 Foundry retreats, you should come.

If you went to Night Zoo on one of the retreats, you should come.

If you know the name of the Asian dude who says, "Hey, how you doing?", you should come.

If you helped in the plaza fellowship, you should come.

If you were ever a Foreman or core group leader, you should come.

If you were blessed by friends and would like to see them again and catch up, you should come.

We would all love to see you there. I know that some receiving this message will be out of town. We're just hoping that you would be in L.A. this same weekend of the 18th. Blessings to all and I hope to see you there.

P.S. Here's a little dose of nostalgia to whet the reunion appetites.
